WHO WE ARE


 

The Ballet Folklórico Aires Panameños started in the City of Miami in October of 1995 and became a non-profit organization in July 1996.

The members of this Ballet are students and professionals Panamanians and of other nationalities that reside in this City and dance to share the Panamanian Culture with the community of this Nation.  Our performances have had standing ovations by everyone who enjoys the colorful and elegant of our dresses, our rhythm and the energy of each one of our dances.

 

We have an extense variety of dances, music and dresses to entertain at any event.  The majority of our performances have been donated to the community at events to Churches and Hospitals in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, as well as cultural, social and privates events.  Performing in many stages throughout out the State of Florida like the cities of Port Charlotte, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Melbourne y Orlando

Our shows are mostly donated to the community, for example at the Senior’s Hurley Home in Hallandale and in N. Miami and at Churches like Hermita de la Caridad in Coral Gables and San Isidro in Tamarac, St Esteban in Pembroke Pines,  among all others. 

We have been participating with the community performing during the Hispanic Heritage Week, Latin Festivals, Calle 8 Festival, Countries Independence Events and Christmas Festivities.

We have participated in severalat the III Panamanian Folkloric Reunion in Orlando, Florida and the IV Folkloric Reunion in Los Angeles, California.  

This year we are the hosts of Encuentro Miami, the VI Reunion of Panamanian Folkloric Groups that will be held in Miami [More information about Encuentro Miami]
